Getting to La Maddalena

From Milan or Rome: 1 hour flight + 45 min drive + 15 min ferry. You're on the island.

  1. Fly to Sardinia

    Olbia Costa Smeralda Airport (OLB) — 45 minutes from La Maddalena. Flights from all major Italian and European cities.

  2. Get to Palau

    By car or bus from Olbia airport (SS125). Palau is the main embarkation port for La Maddalena. ~45 minutes.

  3. Ferry to La Maddalena

    In summer, ferries every 15 minutes from Palau. 15-minute crossing. Operators: Delcomar, Maddalena Lines. Cars and motorcycles accepted.

  4. On the Archipelago

    By car, scooter, bike or on foot. For the smaller islands (Caprera, Santo Stefano) local ferries from the port of La Maddalena.
