There are several options to reach La Maddalena from Olbia airport:
- Rental car (recommended!) the most flexible and fastest. With this you just follow the SS125 to the port of Palau and board the ferry. All the major rental companies are at the airport.
- Airport bus – Olbia via Aldo Moro
To reach La Maddalena by bus you must get to the centre of Olbia, leaving from Bay 3 at the airport and taking ASPO line 2 or 10 towards Via Aldo Moro; you will find the timetable here.
Bus via Aldo Moro – Palau
Then take Bus 601 towards Santa Teresa and get off at the Palau Porto stop. You will find the timetable here. - Private transfer — convenient but pricey (~120-180€ per car for up to 4 people).
