2.1 Site navigation

The IT systems and software procedures that run the site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, some data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, date and time of the request). Such data are kept for the time strictly necessary to the functioning of the site and are not used to identify users.

2.2 Newsletter subscription and PDF guide download

We collect your name (optional) and email address when you subscribe to our newsletter or download the free guide. Purpose: sending the PDF guide, periodic communications about beaches, itineraries, events and offers relating to the La Maddalena Archipelago.

2.3 Analytics cookies

Subject to consent, we use statistical cookies to understand how visitors interact with the site (pages visited, session duration). See Section 7 and the Cookie Policy for details.

2.4 Marketing and affiliate cookies

Subject to consent, the site contains affiliate links to third-party services (e.g. TraghettiLines). Clicking these links may place tracking cookies by the affiliate partner. The controller has no direct access to the data collected by the partner.

• Navigation data: deleted within 30 days of collection.
• Newsletter email: kept until consent is withdrawn (unsubscription).
• PDF guide download token: automatically expires 2 hours after generation.
• Consent cookie (lm_consent): 6 months, then new consent requested.
• Analytics/marketing cookies: duration indicated in the Cookie Policy.

The data are not transferred to third parties for their own purposes. They may be communicated to:

• Technical service providers (hosting, email server) who process the data as processors under Art. 28 GDPR.
• Affiliate partners (TraghettiLines, L'Ajaccio B&B) solely in the form of a referral for bookings; consult their respective privacy policies for details.
• Competent authorities where required by legal obligations.

The data are not transferred outside the European Economic Area, except for any analytics services that may transfer data to the USA with adequate safeguards (e.g. Standard Contractual Clauses).
